How we help with the new Directives

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) bans the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic equipment products after July 2006. This legislation is often referred to ‘Lead Free’ however this is not strictly true, you can still purchase ‘Lead Free’ product that is still Non RoHS Compliant.
To Ensure our customers can identify with UK Purchasing as a trustworthy source for RoHS compliant product we are able to offer full X-Ray examination through one of our partners which identifies the full material content in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. This equipment allows the handlers to ascertain the full mineral content of any component and guarantees that the product conforms to the EU legislation.
